A late season snowfall and a blue sled is all I need. Snow is a good insulator, and temperatures always fluctuate a lot in early spring around here. I’ve piled all the extra fluffy stuff and thrown it on the garden. Hopefully my garlic, swiss chard, parsley–oh, and one surviving leek–will stay dormant a bit longer. When they finally decide to wake up, they’ll have a little extra moisture too!
Sophie came out and supervised my efforts.
She of course is wondering what’s in it for her….
